Pioneer fume hoods are the first low flow laboratory fume hood to utilize our Directed Airflow Technology and are designed to maximize containment performance and energy efficiency. The innovative Pioneer airflow system provides enhanced performance at lower face velocities by purging the area in front of the user’s body with a controlled airflow of recycled room air. This feature makes the it more robust and applicable to adverse installations such as retrofits. It also provides a higher sight line, chain and sprocket counterbalance, and a low profile sill to enhance safety and comfort. Pioneer is available in five benchtop width configurations.
The SafeAire II fume hood has been designed, engineered and tested to incorporate the latest in technology, performance and ergonomic features. It is also the industry’s first UL 1805 compliant fume hood product line. The UL 1805 standard covers construction, materials, flammability and containment performance. This hood has been designed to function properly at the current lower face velocities. A flush sill and trough is utilized to enhance safety and comfort. The SafeAire II fume hood line is the broadest product offering. SafeAire II hoods are available in 4 depths, 3′-12′ widths, and either bench or floor-mounted designs.
The Concept fume hoods have a low flow design, capable of proper containment at lower (60 FPM) face velocities. These fume hoods provide a higher visual sight line, chain & sprocket counterbalance, and a flush sill/trough to enhance safety and comfort. Concept fume hoods are available in both bench and floor-mounted models with optional sash configurations.
The Solution fume hood is a functional and stylish fume hood designed to fit a multitude of laboratory applications. The streamlined posts and radius
airfoil, along with a 36-inch high viewing area, offers a softer look than conventional fume hoods. This hood is applicable in both CAV and VAV designs. It is also available as a workstation that allows 360 degree viewing.

Custom enclosures may vary from relatively simple sash or size modifications to large pilot plant enclosures. These custom enclosures require specific testing and usage parameters. Actual mockups of the field building conditions may be utilized to validate proper function.
Fume Extractors / Snorkels
Fume Extractors, also known as Snorkels, are for use during specific tasks that need spot ventilation. The snorkel is connected to your HVAC system to create a safe work environment.
Our snorkels have:
- Flexible self-supporting construction, consisting of firm tubes of aluminum or shatterproof polypropylene.
- Movable joints made of shatterproof polypropylene.
- A unique damper inside the joint that is totally out of the airflow when in open position, making it flexible, durable, and easy to clean.
- A choice of up to 3 different materials to cover widely in terms of pollution sources.
- The ability to cover all air volumes between 27-235 cfm.
- Easy maintenance, which mainly involves cleaning as needed. When cleaning, you can quickly take apart and assemble the extraction arms by means of few grips and without any tools.
